Robyn Polansky Morrison, Founder + Lead Principal

Working at the junction of money and meaning has been a career-long pursuit for Robyn Polansky Morrison, founder, and lead principal of MORR Strategy, an independent cross-disciplinary, advisory and consultancy firm, providing bespoke financial advice combined with hands-on solutions. Areas of specialization include financial literacy and strategy, impact and values-based investing, capital introduction, and intentional philanthropy.

Morrison has over 20 years of experience working with high-net-worth individuals, families, small businesses, and foundations at iconic institutions including Align Impact, Bank of America Private Bank, U.S. Trust Private Bank, Bessemer Trust and Thomson Reuters. Her depth of knowledge and expertise in the wealth management space has successfully increased access to, effectiveness in, and alignment of deploying capital through a range of traditional, alternative, social and impact investments as well as philanthropic grants.

While building MORR, Morrison co-founded and continues to run Jewish Women INVEST Education Projects as the Chief Executive Officer and Lead Facilitator, the very first initiative with the exclusive mission to educate women about purposeful and values-aligned investing and to activate personal capital and institutional assets for good. Morrison also is a Managing Director at Umergence, a broker dealer, and focuses on raising capital for values-aligned and impactful startups; a Venture Partner at Rebalance Capital, an alternative investments platform dedicated to investing in solutions creating upward mobility; and an Adjunct Professor in Finance and Investing at Touro College.

As a passionate advocate of mission-driven causes, Morrison is engaged in numerous philanthropic activities, serving on several boards and committees in various capacities including the Executive Board of the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York. She has been recognized by several institutions for her commitment and passion having received the Inaugural Blumberg Family Young Leadership Award in 2022 from the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York and The Jewish Week’ s “36 under 36” in 2011.

Morrison’s career drive and focus as well as her philanthropic pursuits are inspired by her childhood, when she was influenced by her mother’s sincere generosity and unwavering nature to help others in all ways possible, joined with her father’s commitment to working harder and smarter.

Morrison earned her B.A. in Economics from Union College, where she was a four-year member of the varsity crew team, and her M.B.A. from Touro College Graduate School of Business. She holds her FINRA Series 7 and NASSA Series 66 licenses.

When Morrison is not waxing on about profit and purpose, she can be found relaxing at home or adventuring with her husband David, son Myles, and daughter Wren; connecting with friends around the world; following New York Yankees baseball; and cycling.
